How to change brake rotors
Here are a set of instructions on how to change brake rotors. New rotors must be cleaned with brake cleaner before installation.
1. Jack up the vehicle and remove the wheel. (refer to how to jack up a car) (how to change tire)
2. Remove brake caliper.
Note: Do not let caliper hang by the brake line. Secure caliper with zip tie or wire.

Note: In some cases an impact screwdriver is a good idea to avoid damage to screws.
4. Once brake rotor is removed spray area with brake cleaner to remove any grease or brake dust.

5. Install new rotor and use brake cleaner to clean any grease or debris.
6. Reinstall everything back together.
Follow manufacturer's recommendation on "break in" procedure. Failure to properly break in new brake rotors may result in total brake loss.
