How to burnish (brake in) brake pads

This set of instructions show how to burnish new brake pads. This procedure will ensure proper performance and longevity of the brake pad.

1. Accelerate vehicle to about 35 mph using moderate pressure on brake pedal bring vehicle to a complete stop. Repeat this step 7-10 times. 2.Now accelerate vehicle to about 45 mph apply hard pressure on brake pedal and bring vehicle to a complete stop. Repeat this step 3 times. 3. Wait 15 minutes for your new brake pads to cool off. 4. the new brake pads are ready to use. Failure to burnish brake pads can result in a squeaky brakes or complete brake failure.
